New Krispy Kreme Cup Sleeve

I haven't had Krispy Kreme coffee for almost 2 months now for 2 reasons: first is that I changed shifts from morning shift to afternoon shift; and second, I was busy buying and drinking Serenitea's milk teas.

This afternoon as I was contemplating of what to eat for merienda, I decided to have a Krispy Kreme doughnut and KK coffee, the perfect partner of a doughnut! So I ordered my usual order - Smooth coffee, Large. I immediately saw that their cup sleeve changed! From a carton cup sleeve to fabric (?) cup sleeve. I'm totally loving the new cup sleeve as it is re-usable and made from recycled materials. =)

The cup sleeve has this note on it: "This cup sleeve is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. Reuse it with your next cup for the greener good." Yehey! =)

I threw my coffee cup already before I remembered to take a picture. Hence, the above picture is of the cup sleeve only...  :)

What keeps me going on a sleepy busy morning...

...is COFFEE!  I take mine with cream and sugar. Although sometimes coffee makes me sleepy - prolly from too much sugar I put in = sugar crash. Today, instead of buying myself a Starbucks coffee, I opted to buy a large Krispy Kreme smooth coffee. No doughnuts today. The coffee is mild but the caffeine is strong -- which I like. It's much cheaper than a Starbucks, too!

Good morning! Hope that you have a great day! :)

PS. Pardon my messy desk.

Dessert at Cafe Breton, UP Ayala Technohub

After our dinner at Don-Day's, my friends and I went to UP Ayala Technohub for some dessert and coffee.

We decided to have dessert at Cafe Breton. It's not a new restaurant; but eating there with my ComSci friends was definitely a new experience. Cafe Breton has great coffee and crepes! The food they offer can be eaten as breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. Yum! :)

Our orders for the night:

Macchiato - espresso with a small amount of milk. It's as strong as a great espresso is. :)
Iced coffee something. (I totally forgot what this is :( sorry! )
Fruit Parfait - it's with mango, banana, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate syrup.
Their famous La Pinay - mango crepe with ice cream and chocolate syrup.
